Virgin Galactic Delays Planned Spaceflight Test

Virgin Galactic, the commercial spaceflight firm that is backed by Sir Richard Branson--and which went public in October of 2019--has delayed its planned spaceflight test for this weekend. The company said it has "decided to allow more time for technical checks" on its spacecraft. Virgin Galactic did not say what kind of issues it had encountered in the check. Virgin Galactic has yet to start commercial flights to space, and has been testing its vehicles for a number of years. The company has been battling back from the fatal crash that occurred in 2014 while the company was in the midst of testing its SpaceShipTwo spacecraft.
