Confirm BioSciences Names CEO, COO

San Diego-based Confirm BioSciences announced this morning that it has named both a new CEO and COO. According to the biotech company, it has named Albert Berger as Chief Executive Officer, and Nikhil Nayak as its Chief Operating Officer, as former CEO and founder Zeynep Ilgaz shifts to become Chairwoman and Chief Advisor. Berger was previously VP and General Manager of Redwood Toxicology Laboratory, a division of Alere Toxicology (acquired by Abbott Laboratories in October of 2017); Nayak was previously Chief Marketing Officer at Millennium Health. Confirm BioSciences is providing diagnostics testing and health and wellness products, including products for both instant- and lab-based testing for drug abuse, as well as products for measuring hormone, vitamin, and other levels, which it sells to both the corporate community and individual consumers.
