Virgin Galactic Starts Selling Seats To Space

Virgin Galactic, the space tourism company headed by Sir Richard Branson, started selling seats to space again, after successfully launching Branson and a number of others in its first fully crewed spaceflight. The company--which developed its vehicles and technology in Mojave, California--is selling seats on its spacecraft for $450,000 per flight. The company is also offering up multi-seat packages, in addition to letting customers book entire flights. The company is planning to start commercial service next year, in 2022.
