Near Names Tech Vet Gladys Kong As COO

Pasadena-based Near, which provides marketing data about audiences to brands, has named technology veteran Gladys Kong as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Kong was previously the CEO of UberMedia, and had joined near after its acquisition of UberMedia. Near said the appointment will help it further scale its business and customers. Near's CEO is Anil Mathews.
