Tetra Tech Acquires BridgeNet

Pasadena-based Tetra Tech, which provides global consulting and engineering services, said late Thursday that it has acquired Newport Beach-based BridgeNet, a developer of aviation technology. Financial details of the buy were not disclosed. BridgeNet is a developer of software, Volans, used for aerospace data analytics, environmental and acoustic modeling, and 3-dimensional airspace visualization for federal and commercial aviation customers. Tetra Tech said BridgeNet's software is used by engineers and aviation experts to simulate and display potential acoustic and environmental impacts from new performance-based navigation procedures and flight operations, as well as runway and airfield configurations.
