Cryptocurrency Mogul Brock Pierce Running Presidential Campaign

Brock Pierce, the former Los Angeles area startup entrepreneur and investor who made a fortune in the cryptocurrency space, has quietly been running as a third party for President of the United States over the last few months. Pierce--who now makes his home with a number of other cryptocurrency moguls in Puerto Rico--filed a statement of candidacy back in July. Pierce was estimated to be worth between $700M to $1 billion back in 2018, having been an early adopter and investor in a wide range of cryptocurrency, including Bitchoin, Ethereum, and others. Pierce has a long history in Los Angeles startups, including involvement in Digital Entertainment Network (DEN), Titan Gaming and Internet Gaming Entertainment, among other companies. Pierce recenty detailed his plans for a third political party. Pierce, despite his success in cryptocurrency and the startup world, is not without baggage -- he has been involved with Jeffrey Epstein and his conferences, and was a partner of recently indicted Steve Bannon, who was an investor in IGE and late replaced Pierce as CEO at that company.
