Snap Will No Longer Feature Trump On Discover

Venice, California-based Snap said it will no longer promote posts by Donald Trump on Wednesday, making the President's content harder to find, and no longer featuring it in Discover. According to Snap, "We will not amplify voices who incite racial violence and injustice by giving them free promotion on Discover. Racial violence and injustice have no place in our society and we stand together with all who seek peace, love, equality, and justice in America." The move comes after Snap CEO Evan Spiegel sent a note to employees saying that he was "heartbroken and enraged by the treatment of black people and people of color in America." Spiegel--who pointed out his father served as the general counsel of the Christopher Commission, created to investigate racism and excessive force in the Los Angeles Police Department following the Rodney King beating here in Los Angeles in 1991.
