Masimo Expands Rollout Of COVID-19 Remote Patient Management Product

Irvine-based patient monitoring equipment developer Masimo has rolled out a new, remote patient management product specifically aimed at the COVID-19 pandemic. The company said its new product, Masimo SafetyNet, offers up remote pulse oximetry system which helps clinicians care for patients remotely in hospital settings and in non-traditional settings and circumstances. The company says the remote patient management product is already being piloted by such insitutions University Hospitals (UH) in Cleveland and St. Luke's University Health Network in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Pricing on the new product was not announced. The company had announced its first deployment of the product last month.
