The Boring Company Will Bid For High Speed Transport Loop In Chicago

Los Angeles-based The Boring Company will bid to build, fund, and operate a high speed loop connecting Chicago O'Hare Airport to downtown Chicago, Elon Musk said late Wednesday. Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel said this week that the city will begin taking requests for qualification to design, build, finance, and maintain an express train to O'Hare. Musk did not provide any other details on what The Boring Company might propose for the Chicago route, however, the company has been busy in Los Angeles building a tunnel for a high speed transportation network, starting in the SpaceX parking lot.
