Flip Finds $28M For Beauty Shopping App

Los Angeles-based Flip, which develops an app that lets people shop for beauty products through video reviews, content, a community, and more, has raised $28M in a Series A funding, the company said on Monday. The funding was led by Streamlined Ventures, and also included Mubadala Capital Ventures, BDMI, plus angels Ruby Lu, an early investor in Kuaishou. According to the company, the new funding will go to scale its brand offering and creator ecosystem, plus will go towards its logistics platform. Noor Agha is the founder and CEO of FLIP.
