Gryphon Adds Threat Detection To Wi-Fi Mesh System

San Diego-based Gryphon Online Safety, a startup that develops a wireless mesh system for home and small businesses, says it has incorporated technology from antivirus software developer ESET into its products. According to Gryphon, the addition of the software will incorporate threat detection technology to help protect its customers. Gryphon says it has an "AI-powered wireless mesh Wi-Fi platform" which not only includes such features as parental controls and Internet filtering, but also protects network devices such as webcams and smart thermostats. Gryphon is led by CEO John Wu.
