Heal Launches Telemedicine Offering

Los Angeles-based Heal, which provides on-demand, in home house calls by doctors, is expanding into telemedicine, saying it has launched a new service called Heal Hub. According to heal, the new, telemedicine offering is aimed at patients with chronic conditions, and will offer up telemedicine visits to patients by the same doctors who have been to your house during house calls. Heal said its doctors will have both in-home context along with prior health records and real time vitals through Heal's health tracking device, the Heal Wellbe, which allows doctors to track such vitals as blood pressure, blood sugar, heart rate, and other factors in real time. Pricing on the new telemedicine service was not announced by Heal. The new Heal Hub services is also integrated with Apple Health Kit for health records tracking and history.
