CoolSys Buys Energy Squared

Brea-based CoolSys, which owns a large network of refrigeration and HVAC servicing companies across the nation, has acquired ‌engineering consulting company Energy Squared, the company announced this morning. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. CoolSys said the buy adds more than 100 engineers to its team. Energy Squared provides mechanical, electrical, plumbing and refrigeration (MEPR) engineering analysis and design for the commercial, industrial, retail, hospitality/entertainment/leisure, mixed use and multifamily residential markets.
