SleepScore Launches App For Shift Into Daylight Savings Time

Carslbad-based SleepScore Labs, a developer of an app aimed at helping people improve their sleep, said it has launched a new program specifically aimed at helping people shift into Daylight Savings Time, which is March 10th. According to the company, it has launched a four-day, in-app program specifically aimed at helping people adjust to the time shift. The program is free to users of its app. According to SleepScore Labs, the transition to Daylight Savings is associated with a 24 percent increase in risk of heart attacks, a 15 percent probability of a stroke, and nine percent increase in car accidents immediately following the shift. SleepScore is a joint venture of ResMed, Dr. Mehmet Oz, and Pegasus Capital Advisors L.P.
