8minute Solar Energy Adds 3 Gigawatts Of Solar Projects To Pipeline

Los Angeles-based solar power developer 8minute Solar Energy says it has added another 3 gigawatts (GW) of solar projects to its development pipeline, bringing its total number of projects to 18 gigawatts. According to the company, the projects are being supported by development capital from J.P. Morgan Asset Management and Upper Bay Infrastructure Partners, its joint venture partners, and it also said that the University of California (UC) Office of the Chief Investment Officer of the Regents is a "significant" investor. 8minute Solar Energy says the company is planning to convert its pipeline into a combined solar power plant design with battery energy storage. 8minute is led by Dr. Tom Buttgenbach.
