Lawn Love Acquired By LawnStarter

San Diego-based Lawn Love, an on-demand lawn and outdoor care company which is led by Jeremy Yamaguchi, has been acquired by Austin-based Lawn Starter, according to the companies this week. Financial terms of the cash-and-stock deal were not announced. Lawn Love was backed by Bullpen Capital, Y Combinator, Alexis Ohanian, Joe Montana and Barbara Corcoran, and had raised $6.7M in total funding. The company was founded in 2014. LawnStarter is backed by Lerer Hippeau, Edison Partners, Bull Creek Capital, Gary Vaynerchuk, Cotter Cunningham, Rony Kahan and Varsha Rao, and has received over $27M in funding; the company came out of Techstars Austin.
