ShiftPixy Heads To Chicago

Irvine-based Shiftpixy, which develops mobile apps and systems which help businesses manage shift-based wokers, said it has expanded to Chicago this morning. The company said the new office follows openings of offices in Orlando and Austin earlier this year. The company's software and systems are used by restaurants and others to manage signups for open work shifts. ShiftPixy said Chicago has a "dominant food and hospitality scene" and that it is looking to work with fast casual operators in that market, which will also help it in expanding into the rest of the Midwest.
