Zen Ecosystems, Backed By New Funding, Adds Energy Veteran As Advisor

Newport Beach-based Zen Ecosystems, a provider of energy management solutions, said today that it has named Jon Wellinghoff, the longest serving chairman of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and an expert in sustainability policy, as a strategic advisor. Wellinghoff is currently CEO of GridPolicy, and was formerly SolarCity's Chief Policy Executive. The appointment follows a recent, April Series B funding round for Zen Ecosystems.
