Virgin Galactic Gets Critical Infrastructure Exemption

Mojave-based Virgin Galactic, the commercial space tourism company which is backed by Sir Richard Branson, has received a critical infrastructure exemption, allowing the company to continue to operate during lockdown of most U.S. states. Virgin Galactic has been seeking to launch tourists into space as early as sometime this year. Virgin Galactic manufactures its spacecrafts in Mojave, and has a futuristic spaceport in New Mexico.
