Neural Analytics Wins $10M Contract From US Army

Los Angeles-based medical device developer Neural Analytics reported a win with the U.S. Defense Department this morning, saying it has received a $10M contract from the U.S. Army to developer a portable device to assess combat-related traumatic brain injury (TBI). According to the company, the contract was awarded by the U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command. The company said the system will measure and monitor physiological parameters relevant to moderate-severe TBI and to operate in prolonged field care scenarios. The company has tapped Battelle for additional technical and engineering expertise to enable ruggedization and miniaturization of its technology suitable to meet military requirements. Neural Analytics is led by CEO and co-founder Leo Petrossian, Ph.D.
