IMDBPro Debuts Android App

Los Angeles-based IMDbPro, the subsidiary of Amazon.com which offers up information to entertainment professionals--and which is linked to popular movie information site IMDb--says it has launched a brand new app for Android. According to IMDbPro, the new app allows its members to access its information on the go. The new Android app comes on top of an existing, iPhone app from the company. The new app allows its members to search for profiles on more than 4 million people in the entertainment industry, gain access to industry news, tap into contact and representation details for actors, actresses, and others in the industry, and more. The company also said that the new app also includes a new link to a Women In Film Sexual Harassment Help Line and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
