Citadel Defense Reports US Government Deployments Of Drone Defense

San Diego-based Citadel Defense, which develops counter-drone technology to help detect and identify unauthorized drones, claims it has deployed its technology for three, undisclosed U.S. government agencies. According to the company, it has been working over the past six months to deploy its counter-drone technology, both domestically and abroad. The company said those deployments were all through a pilot program. Citadel Defense says its drones uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to protect ciritical infrastructure, live events, and high value assets from both careless and nefarious drone use. Financial impacts of those deployments and whether they were tied to actual contract awards were not annoucned.
