Jam City Signs Slate Of Original Harry Potter Actors for Hogwarts Game

Los Angeles-based mobile game maker Jam City said this morning that it has signed a lineup of original actors from the Harry Potter films, to provide the voiceovers for its upcoming game, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery. According to Jam City, voiceovers on the game--which is slated to launch on April 25th--were provided by Dame Maggie Smith (Professor McGonagall), Michael Gambon (Professor Dumbledore), Warwick Davis (Professor Flitwick), Sally Mortemore (Madam Irma Pince), Gemma Jones (Madam Pomfrey), and Zoe Wanamaker (Madam Hooch). The game will be available on both iOS and Android. Players in the game will experience the game as if they are a student entering the famed Harry Potter school, attending classes, learning magical skills, and going on their own quests. Jam city was founded by Chris DeWolfe and Aber Whitcomb, the founders of MySpace, along with Josh Yguado, a former 20th Century Fox executive.
