It surprises me that anybody would buy a car without this data because as most people know MSRP on cars is mostly an irrelevant data point used for marketing purposes. “Invoice price” is an equally meaningless marketing tool. I still drive the same car I bought for cash in 2005. But I digress. Why so many on leases?

It says that selling an airplane ticket for $500 and getting paid a $5 fees by the airlines (1% gross margin) is not the same thing as selling $500 of software that you built (>90% gross margin). He was basically active investing until 2004 and 2005, and then started getting much more involved in the non-profit space. I met him a year ago, and we got chatting about the market, what's going on, and his own interest in getting back involved in investing. I don't think that is going to go away just because the market is down.

I had previously raised VC in 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2005. The only other ways to get discovered was to have good organic search results or to get covered by a major blog site. We have also been very busy with our next release, which is due out by December 11th (but I’ll save that for a different post). Page 1: Market Size. $3

Those crappy bots not only cost you money because they keep your server busy and increase your bandwidth bill, they actively decrease your advertising revenue because your visitors hit the back button when your page isn’t responsive due to the heavy bot traffic. It can get worse when a URI gets retweeted often. Keep up the good work.
