When Salesforce.com decided to buy my company in December 2006 I dropped everything and focused religiously on closure. Don’t over shop – If the deal you’re involved with involves raising venture capital or selling your company you naturally want some competition. Any deal – ANY DEAL – that was pre 9/11 was suddenly in question.
