Between 2006–2008 I sold both companies that I had started and became a VC. It was a way to make it hard for your competition to compete. We had lamp shades on our heads, tequila in our glasses, loud music and perhaps too much sand, and burning men, and art exhibits and tres commas. Ask Xi or Putin how that’s going for them.
