Facebook had grown stratospherically from 2004-2007 to 100 million users and was everything that MySpace wasn’t. MySpace was: scantily dressed, teenaged, middle-America, design chaos and on ad steroids.

Those crappy bots not only cost you money because they keep your server busy and increase your bandwidth bill, they actively decrease your advertising revenue because your visitors hit the back button when your page isn’t responsive due to the heavy bot traffic. The web is broken by design and we cannot fix it anymore.
