We moved into the legal process and final due diligence in January and February of 2000. Morgan Stanley then funded one of our competitors. History repeated itself in September 2008 with that market crash. Had I delayed my fund raising in 99/00 by even 3-4 weeks I’m convinced I would not have raised any money at all.
