Manhattan Beach-based Morphlabs , the provider of software for managing private and public cloud infrastructure, has raised $1M in funding from a strategic partner, the firm said this week. According to Morphlabs, the investment came from BroadBand Tower, a provider of Internet services, hosting, and other services in Japan.

Limited Partners or LPs (the people who invest into VC funds) have taken notice as 2014 is by all accounts the busiest year for LPs since the Great Recession began. pre-money valuation you certainly would want to exercise your right to continue investing if you had prorata rights. and the bigger funds can’t get in directly.

When I was looking through their company’s history I saw the following statement made in September 2009: “Takes on WebEx, launches web conferencing and announces its US expansion with 900 US resellers&#. If Skype continues its growth eBay should at least see a return on its investment. So my advice was to focus a bit more.
