I was then brought into a fund as an EIR, an Entrepreneur-in-Residence for Epic Ventures. I ran Altavista from 2001 to 2002 in Europe, and came back to the states, doing a lot of consulting between the Dot Com crash and the beginning of social networking. I think it all crystallized in 2010 on the Santa Monica promenade.
