Overture never built the destination site to monetize from. So when Google started pushing AdSense (ads for affiliate or 3rd party sites) they had a HUGE cost advantage. I don’t believe that search is the only answer in 2010 as it was in 2000. 2.6mm in Series A : Canaan , Anthem. It’s core platform stuff.
