How did you get into the technology business? My co-founder is Nasi Peretz, who is CTO of West Side Rentals, another LA company, and who also ran properties at USC for the business school and law school. Scot Richardson: We started our product in the middle of 2009, and the product has been basically available since January of 2010.

Anyone who reads this blog frequently will know that I am a big believer in low-cost video content and specifically the power of YouTube as a content creation & distribution platform. Another major hire was Ryan Lissack who joined as CTO. The industry finally has one of their own at the helm of the largest YouTube network.

It all started with one Meetup in November 2010 in D.C. In November 2011, they launched the CoFoundersLab.com platform. They took the “Match.com for entrepreneurs” model literally and hired the former CTO of Match.com to create the algorithms to help predict and recommend matches. titled “Co-Founders Wanted.”
