Ticketmaster's TicketWeb Buys Strobe Labs

Los Angeles-based TicketWeb , the self service ticketing arm of Ticketmaster , announced this morning that it has acquired event marketing software developer Strobe Labs. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced.

Ciena Solutions Acquired By NetSol Technologies

NetSol said the acquisition will allow it to launch a global SAP practice; Ciena's customers include such firms as Southern California Edison and Ticketmaster. According to NetSol Technologies, the buy was a combination of cash and restricted stock. Ciena Solutions also has a branch office in San Ramon, California.
