My firm GRP Partners recently funded a young LA based company named Ad.Ly Finance and a host of other wonderful services brought to you by their sponsors. So PPC (pay-per-click) advertising on social networks has performed poorly to date. Advertising has driven the majority of Internet innovation. Just ask MySpace.
