On December 2nd, 2006 I wrote the blog post published later in this post when I was CEO of startup Koral about my experiences in pitching VCs. After my company was acquired by Salesforce.com I was asked to stop blogging and they took over my blog as an asset in the sale of the company. My blog was wiped out.

He is well known in the Southern California Technology scene for his work producing the Digital Family event series, along with the MOTM (Meeting of the Minds) series. I've recently co-founded the first political social network FreedomSpeaks and CitySourced.com a real time mobile civic engagement tool.

I hadn't talked to her in a while and then because of a presentation I did around Social Media for Service Professionals she and I reconnected. In 2012, we decided to pivot again, aiming at the same group of consumers, turning into Cheers, a positive social network, kind of the opposite of gripe. Fortunately, Bryan, our CTO at the time, said his wife worked with two guys who had started this thing called Flipagram in 2012. So, that didn't scale well.
