They not only have gotten bigger but they have an amazing track record of funding the biggest names in the sector: Cisco, Apple, Google, Facebook. But it’s more atypical for investors located in this market. LA produced Applied Semantics that created AdSense and was bought by Google. You don’t. Get over it.

I kind of think LA is just LA and doesn’t need some clever marketing term. A market leader in content, music, entertainment, textiles, engineering, aerospace and trade. ZestCash, founded by Douglas Merrill, former CIO of Google [Hollywood]. That’s OK with me. But I think Brad actually has a point.
