Must design your application differently to live on top of the platform. Some other points - LAMP,Net, Java - doesn't make much difference. Large number of Players in Cloud Computing. A couple of the more interesting ones: Amazon EC2 Google App Engine Salesforce.com Force IBM’s Blue Cloud I would tend to agree.
