RightScale said the new software helps companies deploy, monitor, and manage grid processing applications in the cloud. The new software connects into Amazon AWS, and its EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud), SQS (Simple Queue Service), and S3 (Simple Storage Service) to coordinate grid processing.

VRM - his company - goal is to provide a Level 4 platform. Amazon EC2 - uses it for natural language processing. Would never put a user request to an EC2 instance.

When I built my first company starting in 1999 it cost $2.5 That’s awesome for users of Salesforce.com or companies that want to cater to them but less awesome for pure startups that want independence and are really just looking for cloud infrastructure. That makes both of these amazing companies great channels for startups.
