Sonos Buys Snips For Voice Technology In $37.5M Deal

Santa Barbara-based Sonos said on Wednesday afternoon that it has acquired Snips , a developer of an artificial intelligence platform for enabling voice interaction with connected devices. Sonos said that the deal--which includes the employees at Snips, along with its IP--will "elevate the voice experience" at the company.
