Must design your application differently to live on top of the platform. He sees this as similar to what happened with SMTP, POP, HTTP, etc. Benefit of a proprietary platform can be finding customers. Level 1 & 2 Burden is still on the developers, you still have infrastructure. I would tend to agree. Completely agree.
