The topic is: Betting Your Company On An Internet Platform? However, these platforms could be interesting for prototype and pilot solutions. The other conclusion was that you need to have a migration path from the platform. Must design your application differently to live on top of the platform. It's funny.

ChowNow , the turnkey interactive food ordering platform, just raised $3 million in additional funding to launch new products and expand national operations. Funds were contributed by returning investor GRP Partners along with Double M Capitol, Karlin Ventures, LaunchPad LA and Daher Capitol, all local investors.

I’m super excited to announce that GRP Partners led the investment in Ethan Anderson’s new company MyTime (link has LA-based merchants but will give you a good feel for the product). MyTime aims to be the first industry-wide platform to help create consistency across the SKUs in services businesses.
