DIRECTV Planning 3D Broadcasts

El Segundo-based satellite broadcaster DIRECTV said Wednesday at CES that it is in a deal with HDTV manufacturer Panasonic, to broadcast 3D television starting in June of 2010. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. on producing additional, 3D programming to debut in 2010 and 2011.
