El Segundo-based VoiceVault , a developer of biometrics technology, said this week that it has released a new software development kit to help developers add voice biometrics on their mobile apps. Pricing on the product was not announced.

For a couple of years, I was the head of a boutique software consulting firm based in El Segundo. It started as a consulting project and was small in scope, mostly a mobile solution for doctors to keep track of patient visits.
