However Gmail is only private email conversations. Alex Benzer: My partner and I met here in Los Angeles, in high school. We're definitely Los Angeles natives, but we got the opportunity to do TechStars. They'll reply to my emails in half an hour, and give us great feedback on what we're doing.

Jason laughed when he told me that he has rattled off inspirational emails to Paul Bricault, Amplify’s managing director, at 11:30 at night only to find an equally enthusiastic response in his in-box five minutes later. If commitment and drive were Jason’s first attraction, the extensive Amplify network came in a close second.
