It was obviously a scheme set up by young entrepreneurs to line their pockets and some big-company executives who didn’t understand innovation. At the bottom end of the stack is storage (S3) and processing (EC2). AOL is in the process of rebuilding itself and emulating a little-known LA-based startup called Demand Media.
