Realtime , a startup developing technology to help power real-time web applications, said today that it has raised $100M, launched in the U.S., The firm, which was previously known as Internet Business Technologies, said that it has developed a language, xRTML, that helps convert existing, static HTML into real-time, live web applications.

It's way easier to get your pages setup in these languages than by choosing Java alone. Of course, I'm not sure that anyone chooses Java alone. Get get help (see Free Startup CTO Consulting Sessions ). They start with lots of other things. Still there's no doubt that some aspects come quickly. So what's the bottom line?

According to MySpace, the upgrade includes new access to the activity stream of MySpace users, integration of OAuth and OpenID for authentication of users, and new developer resources to help developers create and manage applications.
