If you look at the articles on a site like CNN, and the 650 opinions you see after every article, your eyes just start to go crossed. The owners of a news site or blog can then install our plugins on their site, via all six lines of Javacript. When you stick that plugin on a blog you are writing, it scans the article for names.

We have software which allows you to select which web sites you want to do this for, prioritizing them above others, and dedicates space on your hard drive which provides a faster, always-on capability for specific web sites. It's completely transparent to the web sites we are supporting. A large site will run faster.

Wordpress in particular is fairly resource heavy right out of the box so speeding up everything else is a critical piece of running a site on this platform. The problem with most of the share badges out there is that they load a Javascript file from an external source which can take several seconds on a bad day.
