Startup Founders really need to see these numbers. And I hope you are not running on Cake PHP when you see these numbers. Many of us are putting more into the front-end and having the application logic and back-end exposed through JavaScript (JSON) APIs. Most startups do not get a chance to move from one framework to another.

First up is data from the EC2 m1.large Only Cake PHP requires more than 100 milliseconds. Starting again with EC2. As before, Raw PHP is also very strong in this test. Again, Raw PHP makes an extremely strong showing. JavaScript. with APC, PHP-FPM, nginx. PHP ActiveRecord (Nightly 20121221).
