People mistook the fact that these text advertisements worked in Google to say they would work in social networks. That was a kerfuffle too.

Scour is an offshoot of a PPC advertising firm, ABCSearch, which was also founded by Dan. We give users something they don't get anywhere else, for something they do every day--searching the web.
