I first met Ethan in 2005. Ethan had pointed out to me that merchants were being barraged by “deal site” wanting to drive customers in the door but they didn’t have great tools to manage their customers. I think it’s a beautifully designed site and product. So there you have it.

Storage is what’s known as “highly fragmented,” meaning easier for a new entrant to get traction if it could design a better product / service / experience. But that’s harder to build in 2016 than it was in say 2005. You may have paid marketing: SEM, Social Media Ads, Banner Ads, email lists, etc.
